The trip takes you from the city port of Leipzig via the Elster flood bed to our location at the Scheibenholz racecourse. From there, we drive to the Connewitz lock and continue on the Pleisse through the riparian forest to the mouth of the raft ditch, which marks the turning point of the tour. The riparian forest is rich in various animal and plant species. In addition to the famous and equally shy kingfisher, many other bird, fish and mammal species can
be observed.Your captain is happy to introduce you to the special features of the riparian forest with interesting stories.
