• Christmas (which is called Jul) in Denmark is a magical time full of traditions. Unfortunately, our Christmas markets doesn’t really do Danish Christmas justice, so join us on our Christmas walking tour instead and discover the meaning behind Danish holiday traditions - both the new and the ancient ones dating all the way back to the Yuletide traditions of Viking times.

• Discover Danish merry-making with a Copenhagen local and get a better understanding of Danish Christmas traditions - both past and present
• Indulge in a Nordic feast like the Vikings and taste Danish æbleskiver (kind of Christmas dougnuts), the best Gløgg (which is nothing like mulled wine) in town awarded by locals, gingerbread hearts and a Julebryg (Christmas beer) with a notorious reputation that awakes strong emotions in Danes

• Make it festive by hearing about or even dancing around a Christmas tree to one of the hottest Danish Christmas jams, play pakke-spil (a typical Danish Christmas game) and experience some of Copenhagen’s most charming and illustrative places of that elusive Danish Christmas hygge.
