Our tour begins in the Financial District at Kane’s Donuts where we’ll sample several of their daily flavors. After which, we’ll take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront on our way over to Boston’s Public Market. While there, we’ll try some delicious donuts and apple cider. You’ll also learn some history around the market and have a moment to check out other vendors. On to our third stop, we’ll walk through Boston’s North End or “Little Italy” neighborhood - one of the oldest neighborhoods in Boston. It’s also the home to the Old North Church, which was the starting point for Paul Revere’s famous ride during the Revolutionary War. In the North End, we’ll stop at one of the oldest bakeries in the neighborhood. We’ll have a uniquely Boston treat while we’re here. Lastly, we’ll walk back through the North End to end our tour back at the Public Market where we’ll finish with Union Square Donuts. Starting Location
If you are using Google Maps, the starting location (90 Oliver Street) is wrong on the map. Please go to the corner of Oliver Street and High Street and you will see Kane's Donuts. Or you can search for "Kanes Donuts Boston" and it will show you the correct location. Thanks!
Timely Departures
Many of our tours have a tendency to sell out and we have to respect the schedules of our other guests, so we have to begin our tours on time. We will wait until 10 minutes after the hour and then we'll have to begin the tour. If you are going to arrive more than 10 minutes after the start of the tour, please call 844-366-8848 to meet us at our second location.
Tour Start and End
Please note that all of our tours do not end where they start, so if you have questions regarding parking, public transportation, etc. please ask your guide or contact us prior to the tour for the best recommendations. All tours are roughly 1.5-2 miles long, so you should plan to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, dependent on the weather. Most tours can be walked end to end in about 30 minutes, so you can always walk back to the beginning, take a cab, public transit or find another means of returning to the starting point fairly easily.
