Explore Boston's "Little Italy" neighborhood with a longtime local! The tour will walk you through the neighborhood, alternating between hilarious stories about the history of the area and delicious food from local shops, popular with the residents!

Start the tour at the entrance to the North End's main dining street and listen to a short history of the area. Proceed to the first food stop, the famous Mike's Pastry, for a taste of a classic Italian dessert - the cannoli. Choose from one of many available flavors! Enjoy the cannoli sitting at North Square, home to the Paul Revere House and artwork depicting historical scenes from Boston's immigrant past.

Head to a hidden bakery and Italian Salumeria for a classic Italian sandwich! Enjoy the food while having a seat in the Paul Revere Mall, with a great view of the Old North Church! Learn about the many inaccuracies in the poem of the famous midnight ride of Paul Revere.

Walk through the narrowest street in the North End to the beautiful waterfront to hear about Boston's infamous Molasses Flood. View the USS Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument from across the water. Proceed to Boston's second oldest cemetery, the Copp's Hill Burial Ground, to listen to the stories of the many important residents of the North End who are buried there. Stop nearby to learn the story behind the "Spite House!"

Head to the next food stop, a local pizza joint, famous for huge, quarter-pie slices. Choose one of the many available toppings, including vegetarian options! Have a seat in a beautiful park with views of Boston's downtown to listen to the story of the neighborhood's immigrant past and Boston's tumultuous history.

End the tour in a local food market, with many options to continue the foodie journey on your own! Your guide will be happy to recommend a place in the market. Try a lobster roll & clam chowder, cider donuts, popovers, and much more!
