Not only do you hear it straight from the source, but you also behold one of England's most picturesque and serene cities. This is the real Cambridge as experienced from within the college walls.

A CRUISE THROUGH THE CENTURIES
Undoubtedly the best way to see the most famous Cambridge colleges in a short space of time, our punting tours typically last around 45-50 minutes and take you through eight colleges and underneath nine bridges. From the breathtaking sight of King’s College Chapel to the mysterious Mathematical Bridge, the stunning views provide the perfect backdrop to an intriguing and often hilarious history of Cambridge. With stories spanning centuries, including tyrannical rulers, student pranksters, and intellectual greats, all history lessons should be like this one.
A TRADITIONAL CAMBRIDGE PASTIME
Did you know that the original punts were used for transporting cargo around the fens? Ideally suited to shallow water, the punt is a flat and square-shaped boat that is pushed along with a pole. In the early 20th century, punting quickly took off as a leisure activity, and has since become an iconic part of Cambridge tradition. Nowadays punting is the most popular way among students and visitors alike to enjoy the peaceful scenery of the college backs. Don’t miss your chance to join the tradition on a shared Cambridge punting tour!
Meet at the entrance of King’s College on King’s Parade and look out for your guide wearing at least one royal blue element, such as a hat, shirt, or uniform, featuring the coat of arms of Alumni Tours.

Please meet our team outside the main entrance to King’s College on King’s Parade, CB2 1SJ at least 5 minutes before your tour starts.
Your guide will be outside, wearing a royal blue item with the company’s coat of arms (hat, beanie, polo shirt etc...).
You will need to head directly to your punt tour after your walking tour ends. Unless otherwise specified, the punting station is Scudamore's (Mill Ln, Cambridge CB2 1RS). If you walk south past the Corpus Clock onto Trumpington Street, turn right onto Mill Lane when you see Fitzbillies Cafe on your left (approx. 300m/330y from the walking tour start point). Walk down Mill Lane and you will arrive at the Punting station.
If you DID NOT book King’s College Chapel, punting will be 2 hours after the tour starts (e.g., a tour starting at 11 am will have punting at 1 pm).
If you DID book King’s College Chapel, punting will be 3 hours after the tour starts (e.g., a tour starting at 11 am will have punting at 2 pm).
This is standard procedure unless otherwise specified or requested. Your tour guide will inform you of the starting time for your punting tour.

Cancellations & Refunds Policy:
Cancel 24 hours or more in advance and receive a full refund. Customers must check in on time and at the correct meeting point or risk missing the tour and having to purchase new tickets. Traffic and train delays (or cancellations) will not entitle you to reimbursement or rebooking. Give yourself enough time to arrive a minimum of 5 minutes early.
