Canyoning in Val Cresciano/Boggera
We meet right at our base in Cresciano (Agriturismo La Finca) and walk with you to the Boggera inferiore.
Boggera is known as one of the top 5 gorges here in Ticino, which is why canyoning enthusiasts from all parts of the world come here to walk this gorge. This often results in longer waiting times. Especially in the months of July and August, if we want to visit this pearl, we have to reckon with many other groups in the gorge. Of course, it is perfect for you if you can avoid weekends and choose an appointment during the week.
The Boggera Canyon is a water park perfectly designed by nature. It offers a variety of jumps and slides and a few tricky abseiling points up to 17 meters. And all this carved into white, shiny granite rock. Many sections can be easily avoided and omitted.
An ascent of about 30 minutes takes us directly to the start of the gorge. There is a nice little pool with the opportunity to practice jumping, sliding and abseiling optimally. This is followed by 2 abseiling points and then the rope can be confidently packed away for a while until we reach the highlight, which is also known as the
“slit”.For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.
