This is a walking tour of a Grade 1 listed historical monument, so please wear suitable footwear. Unfortunately the Castle Keep is not a fully accessible building, so you will need to be able to manage a significant number of stairs during the event. The Castle Keep will be cold, so please dress appropriately!

You will meet your guide outside the Castle Keep, opposite the Bridge Hotel from 5:45pm onwards if you have booked for a 6pm start, or from 7:45pm onwards for an 8pm start. Please note that this event does not take place at the Black Gate (which google maps might take you to if you put in Newcastle Castle). They'll take your name and details and the tours will begin at 6pm and 8pm. We can wait a short time for any late comers, but once the tour has begun the doors will be locked behind you, so please aim to arrive on time as if you're late you might miss out. There are no toilets in the Castle Keep. The nearest toilets are in the Bridge Hotel over the road from the Keep entrance.
