There are three markets you will visit, each with its own flavor and style, located in three towns that are also worth visiting.
The first market you will visit will be the one in the town of Santa Brigida, located in the north of the island. This market is famous for its native agricultural products, fresh fruits and vegetables from the region presented with love by its producers, in a recreational commercial center a few steps from the old town of Santa Brigida, declared an Asset of
Cultural Interest.The second market is La Vega de San Mateo. An intimate market located in a pavilion next to the center of town, the offer is varied, from cheeses, handicrafts, honey, fruits and vegetables, pastries, wine, most of which come from the fertile environment of this area. It is also interesting to take a walk through the streets or come to visit its church.
Finally, the Teror flea market. One of the oldest street markets on the island with more than 200 years of history, it is located outdoors in the square of the Basilica Del Pino and its surroundings, a must for canaries and tourists on Sunday. In their stalls we can find everything, rakes, sausages, textiles, vegetables, wine, cheeses, fruits, pastries, souvenirs...
