An Exclusive private tour with Driver & Licensed Tour Guide. Your private guide will hop-off the vehicle with you at each stop and walk you through the attractions to provide the most complete insights of every attraction. It includes the private walking tour inside the Colosseum (1hr) and the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter Basilica (2/3hrs). At 8AM you will meet your guide and your driver to your hotel or private apartment.
You will move quickly and comfortably (we only use Mercedes luxury vans) within the city to be able to see as much as possible in the eight hours of tour. Your local guide will take you to discover the “Eternal City” through its historical, artistic and cultural wonders that only Rome can offer. You will not miss the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Venice square, Capitol Hill, Circus Maximus, Colosseum, Vatican Museums and the famous Sistine Chapel. If it’s not your first time in Rome, it will be possible to customize your tour. Ask our office what you prefer to do and we will organize a completely customized tour for you. At 4PM approx you will be back to your hotel or private apartment.
We purchase the skip-the-line tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
Colosseum and Vatican Museums tickets to be paid (only cash) at the end of the tour directly to your guide.
The final voucher/price will NOT include the cost for the tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums.
Vatican Museums are closed on Sunday, Easter, 19Mar, 01May, 29Jun, 14Aug, 15Aug, 01Nov, 8Dec, 25Dec, 26Dec. You will change the Vatican tour with the private walking tour of the Roman Forum, Caesar Palace & the Capitol Hill.
Colosseum is closed on 01May, 25Dec. Please note that for safety reasons the Coliseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once. This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.
For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
*Note that in the event the client requests a refund for any reason, Tour Desk reserves the right to charge a 3% administration fee to cover costs incurred.
