The bike tour "Berlin at a glance" starts in Prenzlauer Berg, one of Berlin's typical old building districts. Four-story houses with rental apartments, built around 1900, stucco on the facades, passages to the closely built backyards. Once a working-class neighborhood, today a popular residential area with many small stores, cafés and a special Berlin flair.
Somewhat older than the tenement districts of Prenzlauer Berg is the "Spandauer Vorstadt". Often referred to as Berlin's barn district, many Jewish families settled here since the 17th century. Continuing towards Berlin Mitte we come to the historical sights, such as the Berlin Museum Island, the Lustgarten, the Berlin Cathedral, the Gendarmenmarkt, Brandenburg Gate and many more. Even the GDR era has left some buildings behind, not only the world-famous Berlin TV Tower at Alexanderplatz.
In addition to Prussia's old glamour and glory, completely new Berlin attractions have been built in the last 30 years: The government district made of glass and concrete, plus the completely rebuilt Reichstag with its modern dome, the concrete steles of the Holocaust Memorial or the freshly rebuilt City Palace, which now houses the Humboldt Forum.

All Berlin on Bike public bike tours start at the Kulturbrauerei (means “Culture Brewery”) in the Prenzlauer Berg district. The brewery grounds have several entrances, the best way to get to us is through the archway at Knaackstraße 97. From the underground station Eberswalder Straße (underground line 2, three stops north of Alexanderplatz) it’s a 200-metre walk.

Included in the price are helmets and rental bikes for the duration of the tour (unless you have specified "own bikes"), as well as straps for the light luggage in the basket. Depending on the weather, however, we keep sun cream, tissues, rain ponchos and gloves ready.
Our bike depot is located in the "Kulturbrauerei", a former brewery site in Prenzlauer Berg near the Eberswalder Straße underground station.
Take the entrance at Knaackstraße 97 (corner of Danziger Straße) and then follow the yellow "Berlin on Bike" signs to us. - Further information on how to get there.
