The 20th-century Free City of Gdansk was not a city of freedom … at least not for everyone.
Between WWI and WWII, a small semi-independent city-state (the Free City of Danzig) the nest of the Nazi movement. From the early '30s till the end of WWII the city of Gdańsk witnessed countless marches of SS and SA troops, fluttering swastikas, acts of violence and terror against local Jews and Poles, and finally death of all: Jews, Poles, Germans and … the city itself.
Come to our tour to hear the story of what was one of the cradles of the Nazi movement. Get to know the story of the Jewish and Polish minorities of Gdańsk. Find out about the tragedy four times larger than the one of Titanic. Learn about both glorious and shameful moments of wartime Gdańsk, the city where it all started.

There few things you need to know now before the tour starts.
Please dress according to the weather - our tours run no matter what (well we will cancel them only in some really extreme weather conditions). Rain, snow or cold doesn't stop us. Dress well and be ready!
Tour operates in our regular "free tour" formula - it is up to you to decide how to reward a guide for his work. The amount is voluntary. You can think of a tour as a trip to the cinema though. Similarly - you will have fun for about 2 hours. Let the amount reflect the ticket price - whether you were in a cheap studio cinema or in an expensive multiplex, it is only your decision! However, we ask you to restrain yourself and do not eat popcorn during the tour.
