PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED TIME ON THIS TICKET (noted above). We are NOT able to wait for latecomers as there are other guests joining the tour as well. This is LA, there is ALWAYS traffic, so please plan accordingly.
You'll meet your guide OUTSIDE on the street near the behind the large white gate, next to the Smokey the Bear Sign. Your guide will be wearing a bright yellow vest with a Bikes and Hikes LA logo on it. Please be mindful of our neighbors and do not bother the people at the homes in the area.
There is no restroom at trailhead**, please use restroom before departure.
PARKING INFORMATION
If you are driving, there is usually ample street parking available at the meeting point (just read the signs carefully to make sure parking is allowed in the space/day/time you're leaving your car).
Otherwise, we suggest using a ride share service (Uber/Lyft) as it is the easiest way to get around an unfamiliar city. We HIGHLY suggest that at least one person in your party has a mobile device with available data to better navigate and communicate in an unfamiliar city.
Mass transit does NOT travel close to the meeting point.
If you do choose to travel via mass transit, both Google Maps and Apple Maps include public transportation options for the greater Los Angeles Area. Just navigate to the closest stop near the meeting point, but you will still need to use a ride share service to complete your journey there.

• We’ll be walking to the summit of Mount Lee along what is widely considered to be an easy to moderate hiking trail
• Guests joining this experience should be in good health with a beginner to intermediate fitness expectation who are able to walk 4 miles round trip and aren’t afraid to break a sweat
• Guests should not have a fear of heights
• Young children are welcome but should be able to hike on their own. NO STROLLERS!
• Water (especially important in the warm summer months)
• Closed-toe shoes (sneakers with decent traction)
