This is the ONLY tour that follows the local's route to Sausalito that avoids long ferry lines and is optimized for SF weather (so much better than any other option). Also visit the historic Ferry Building, Mission District neighborhood, and the Giant's ballpark and Warriors basketball arena along the SF waterfront.

Cancellation Policy

Thanks for your understanding of our following policies designed to give you the safest and best possible experience, while ensuring we can run a healthy small, independent business.

**CANCELLATION POLICY**
While we understand things may happen that lead to an unavoidable cancelation our tour sizes are small and we appreciate your understanding of our policy on refunds and rescheduling. No refunds/rescheduling is possible for customers who do not attend or miss their scheduled tour.

**REFUND/ RESCHEDULING**
If requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour, a refund may be made for public tours and bike rentals. Preferred: you may also reschedule for another date. This helps us out a lot and ensures you still get the best-ever San Francisco adventure. PRIVATE TOURS: We require at least 3 days' notice on private tours arranged for individuals. We require at least 10 days' notice for private tours arranged for corporate groups and sunk costs associated with tour arrangements will not be refunded.

**Minimum Guest Policy for Public Tours**
To make it financially feasible we do require at least 2 guests on all tours. If you're the only one who has signed up as of 6 p.m. the day before, you will be notified and have the option of switching to another tour, a bike rental, or a full refund. Thank you for being so understanding here.

**Weather Policy**
Customers will also receive a full refund or reschedule to another tour due to unsafe weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. We do our best to make the call on weather by 10 p.m. the night before a tour. Forecasted light rain or fog mist does not cancel a tour.

Meeting point

Our location in the iconic and must-visit Haight Ashbury neighborhood is the best place to begin and end a bike tour in SF.

We are one block from Golden Gate Park and a quarter block from Haight Street on Shrader St. across from Cha Cha Cha restaurant.

Parking

Important information

Arrival

We are obligated to all our guests to depart on time so please show up 15 minutes before our start time for setup and introductions. *Note: Our shop opens 15 minutes prior to tour time, so if you arrive early hang tight or get a coffee. We are expecting you but don't open up early.

Tips

Consider tipping your guide, it's standard in the USA service industry and helps us deliver the BEST to you. $15-20/ person recommended for great service. Cash and Venmo @sfbiketours accepted :)

Food and Lunch

We will not stop for lunch on tour but dessert is always included! We will finish in time for lunch or happy hour. Our location is close to TONS of amazing places to eat and drink and we know all the best local spots :)

Note: Our dessert stop has vegan & vegetarian options but doesn't have GF options.

What to Bring

Forget what you know about the weather– SF has a distinctive climate and there can be dramatic swings in temperature throughout. BE PREPARED AND DRESS WARM

Warm layers - Jackets, sweatshirts, pants, and don't forget gloves. These are essentials we bring on all tours year-round, summer included!
