Explore the entire length of the Karl Heine Canal with us and discover the newly emerging Lindenau harbor.
On selected Fridays, we extend a tour and follow in the footsteps of Dr. Carl Heine from the city harbor past the Sturmvogel boathouse to Villa Heines. On the White Elster, it then continues upstream to the Buntgarnwerke. There we turn into the Karl Heine Canal. We follow this road and pass, among other things, the riverboat, the stilt house and St. Philip's Church. At the end of the Karl Heine Canal is the Lindenau Harbour, which has been connected to the canal and navigable since 2015. From there, we head back again. On the way back to the city harbor, you can admire all the sights from a different angle. Your captain will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
