Tivoli is located on an ancient road built by the Romans, called Tiburtina, which still today connects the town to Rome, the area was very rich in water and famous for its Travertine quarries. The Emperor Hadrian (117-138 AD) chose Tivoli as a place to build his sumptuous villa, enriched with statues, mosaics, precious marbles, thermal baths, the theater.

Your driver will meet you at your hotel or private apartment at 9AM. You can request when you arrive to Tivoli a local tour guide who will stay with you for the fully private visit of the two villas (Hadrian’s Villa and Villa D’Este). If you wish we can book lunch and wine tasting for you in one of the local restaurants. At 5PM you’ll be back to your hotel, hoping you enjoyed your tour.

The private licensed tour guide will hop-off the vehicle with you at each stop and walk you throught the attractions to provide the most complete insights of Villa d’Este & Hadrian’s Villa. The price for the guided tour is Eur 250,00 cash for the whole group (per van). You will pay the guide cash directly at the end of the two private walking tours of the two villas.
For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.
For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
