Bei der Recherche geht es darum, Berichte aus erster Hand wiederzuentdecken, die das zivile Leben und die Überlegungen von Soldaten beschreiben, die an diesen drei langen Tagen im Juli 1863 taktisch und tragisch die Straßen von Gettysburg besetzten.

Die Tour beginnt vor dem Lincoln Square 11. Wir treffen uns an der Lincoln-Statue und den Bänken. Es führt rund um den Platz nach Westen zur Chambersburg Street. Wir folgen der Chambersburg Street nach Westen bis zum Stadtrand von 1863 und heben die Bereiche am westlichen Stadteingang hervor. Wir werden den gleichen Weg nehmen, um zum Platz zurückzukehren und über die Menschen zu sprechen, die 1863 in diesen Häusern lebten

**Rescheduling**
Rescheduling your tour may be possible depending on the number of days prior to your tour date. Because your space is being guaranteed at the event, rescheduling is done on a case by case basis.

**Refunding**
Refunding amounts are based on the number of days prior to your schedule tour the cancellation is made.

- More than 15 days: Cancellations made greater than 15 days out from the scheduled tour will be refunded at 90% of the purchase price.

- 15 days - 2 days: Tours canceled less than 15 days but greater than 48 hours from the scheduled tour will be refunded at 50% of the purchase price.

- Less than 2-days: Tours canceled less than 48 hours from the scheduled tour will be charged the full purchase price.

**Other Policies**

- Tours take place rain or shine.
- Carriages have drop down sides in case of rain or cold weather.
- The activity runs regardless of most weather conditions.
- In cases of extreme weather conditions we will assess the conditions and determine if the conditions are safe for the horses, guests and staff. If there are no safety concerns, the tour will run as scheduled.
- In the event we make a decision to cancel any scheduled tours you will receive an email and phone call explaining the situation; you will have the option to receive a refund in full or reschedule your tour at another date.

**In the rare situation where we are forced to cancel the event for reasons beyond our control, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule to another time (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.**
