Have you already done canyoning here or anywhere else in the world? Are you sporty and have brave friends? Then you're ready for one canyoning per tour in the Cugnasco Valley gorge, which is halfway between the capital Bellinzona and the beautiful towns of Locarno and Ascona on
Lake Maggiore.Your tour starts at our base in Cugnasco, which is just a few steps away from the bus stop (Cugnasco Posta).
Here we will inform you about the daily routine and provide you with the equipment for your canyoning pro.
After a beautiful 30-40 minute climb (which you can also do by car), the lower Cugnasco Canyon takes you into a wild and adventurous world!
On our pro tours, the tours are getting longer, the gorges getting deeper and the experience is getting bigger and bigger!
We encounter impetuous waterfalls and untouched nature of Ticino. We enjoy the fresh water and the playful rock formations of nature around Cugnasco. The difficulty for you increases with every step. After we have practiced abseiling, jumping and sliding well, we dive into this world of great
emotions and impressions.Thanks to its depth, vegetation and numerous waterfalls, the Cugnasco Valley gorge gives the impression of being very far from civilization!
But Cugnasco not only offers breathtaking nature, but also a good dose of adrenaline thanks to the many technical abseiling points in the waterfalls and jumps up to 10 meters.
In addition, thanks to its relatively large catchment area, the canyon in the Cugnasco Valley always has good water flow, even when other canyons in Ticino are dry.
After about 3 hours in the gorge without contact with other people (we are usually the only company in this Caynon), we leave this mystical landscape and return straight to the heart of Cugnasco and reach our base after a few steps!
Back in dry clothes, let's enjoy a small aperitif with local produce from Ticino!
