Spend the afternoon the local way, combining two favorite leisure-time activities in Lapland: snowmobiling and ice fishing. Hop onto a snowmobile and drive through the wilderness to reach the perfect fishing spot on some of the many frozen lakes or rivers. Once there, you’ll get to drill the whole in the ice and start luring the fish! If you're lucky to catch one, you get to cook it on the open fire. But even if you get hungry while waiting for a catch, no worries, we will make some reindeer burgers for you! After enjoying hot drinks and a snack, you’ll ride your snowmobiles back to the Santa Claus Village.
Duration of the program is 4 hours, including preparations. The riding time on snowmobiles is approximately 1 hour and 30 - 40 minutes. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for an extra charge. Children are traveling in the sleigh pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.
Snowmobile tours start and end in Wild Nordic Safari Center (Joulupukintie 1) located next to Santa Claus Village. You can skip the return transfer and continue your visit to Santa.
For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.
For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
*Note that in the event the client requests a refund for any reason, Tour Desk reserves the right to charge a 3% administration fee to cover costs incurred.

The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver license – B category (please check that it is valid in Finland!). For all the activities including snowmobiling we ask you to take your driving licenses with you. The driver's license must be physically present or an official digital version written in roman letters.
